We're turning Orange County Blue in November

For eight years, Republican Darrell Issa used his seat in Congress to bully, roadblock, and otherwise hamper President Obama's agenda with made-up partisan nonsense. If you're anything like me, it made you furious.

Well, now we've got a great chance to pick up Issa's seat in the historically-conservative area around San Diego, California. Environmental lawyer Mike Levin is locked in a close race against an opponent with a very sketchy past.

Support Mike's campaign now and let's take back the House in November!

Mike's the kind of person we need a lot more of in government these days. He's a progressive thinker and has worked as an attorney focused on environmental and energy issues.

In addition to pushing for more sustainable power generation and transportation options, he'll fight for affordable health care and higher education, preventing gun violence, protecting Social Security, a woman's right to choose, and a $15 federal minimum wage.

Contribute now to make sure Mike Levin wins this key race.

Mike's opponent, Diane Harkey, is carrying some very heavy baggage into the November election:

  • Her family business was hit for $10 million in damages for ripping off seniors in a Ponzi scheme.
  • As chair of the California Board of Equalization, the state tax collection agency, she was accused of using state employees to advance her own political adventures.
  • A state audit revealed that the agency mismanaged tens of millions of dollars on Harkey's watch and that she left the agency a financial and administrative mess.

Not a good track record.

Mike's running a strong campaign, but it's a close race.

Standing together, we can put him over the top. Chip in to fuel the blue wave and send Mike to Congress!
