Rolling Up Her Sleeves in Iowa

If you're looking for a no-nonsense candidate to fight for progressive change in Washington, look no further than Abby Finkenauer in Iowa's House District 1.

Her dad's a retired union pipefitter, so she knows the meaning of hard work. And during her four years in the state legislature, Abby's proved she knows what's important to working families – fighting for honest job creation, affordable health care, good schools, and a healthy environment.

Progressive organizations such as EMILY's List, End Citizens United, and NARAL Pro-Choice America have backed Abby, and she's built an enthusiastic, hardworking grassroots movement.

Help me in supporting Abby Finkenauer, who has one of the best chances of helping us win back the House.

Abby's up against incumbent Rod Blum, who cozies up to special interests while working against the interests of his constituents. He voted to raise health care costs on working families and seniors and then voted for a GOP tax scam that enriches millionaires like himself.

If there was any doubt about Blum's loyalties, consider this: while in office, Blum founded a company that helps other businesses hide their health and safety violations. This is not a guy who has working people's best interests at heart.

In fact, Rod Blum tops the list of the country's most vulnerable incumbents for his bad choices and wrongheaded behavior.

In spite of Blum's missteps, this race is still too close to call. Please chip in to help put Abby Finkenauer over the top.
