#CelebrateWomen

This year, we inaugurated the first ever woman to the the White House. Vice President Kamala Harris will always serve to forge a path for many women who come after her, and is an inspiration to so many. So today, on International Women's Day, let's celebrate inspirational women. I invite you to join me on Facebook and celebrate the women who inspire you.

Today, on International Women's Day, join me in celebrating the inspirational women in our lives and commit to continuing the work towards a more equitable future - Peter DeFazio

To honor these women, we must stay focused on defending access to abortion and reproductive health care, fighting for equal pay for equal work to close the gender wage gap, standing against sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace, and ensuring equal opportunity to jobs and economic stability.

And a key piece of that fight is taking every opportunity to celebrate our victories and honoring women's contributions to history, endurance against hate and bigotry, and strength to keep us moving to a better future.

Join me on Facebook and share the stories of the wonderful women in your life with #CelebrateWomen.

Peter DeFazio's common-sense proposals aim to create good-paying jobs, expand access to affordable health care and develop options outside of the for-profit marketplace, restore economic and educational opportunities, hold government accountable and tip the scales of inequality back in favor of hard-working Oregonians.
