He’s off the rails

Peter's Republican opponent Alek Skarlatos is raising alarm bells for what he's saying and for what he's not saying.

Alek Skarlatos is still refusing to say that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. Over and over again, he cops out with a "No comment."

Let us never forget, it was Trump's Big Lie about the 2020 election that drove an angry mob to violently attack the Capitol just 6 months ago.

So it's no wonder that media outlets like the Eugene Weekly are starting to raise real questions about whether Alek is too extreme for Oregon:

Off the Rails: Local political leaders are concerned about Alek Skarlatos' extremist views

Spoiler alert: Alek is too extreme for Oregon! Donate $3 to help fuel our fight to reelect Peter DeFazio!

Public servants have a responsibility to tell the truth to their constituents. Alek Skarlatos is proving not only to hold very extreme views, but he's also unwilling to give a straight answer to a simple question. Southwest Oregon deserves so much better in our elected representative.

Luckily, we already have a better representative. And we can't let someone as extreme as Skarlatos win in Oregon in 2022—we must fight back and keep Oregon's 4th congressional district blue! Donate $3 today to help us fight back against extremists like Skarlatos and send Peter back to Congress!

Team DeFazio

Posted on July 26, 2021.

As Independent as Oregon.

Peter DeFazio's common-sense proposals aim to create good-paying jobs, expand access to affordable health care and develop options outside of the for-profit marketplace, restore economic and educational opportunities, hold government accountable and tip the scales of inequality back in favor of hard-working Oregonians.
